Broadview was founded in 1989 by Jack Nyenhuis, an engineering manager who decided to become an entrepreneur after 25 years of service at Herman Miller.
Starting as an engineering firm with only two employees, Broadview purchased a nearby prototyping company in 2002 called Phase 2, then added 3D printing capabilities in 2008.
In 2012, Jack announced that he was retiring and had found the perfect replacement in Rick Arnold, a 25 year veteran engineer of Prince Corporation—later purchased by Johnson Controls.
Rick left Johnson Controls as Vice President of Product Development to pursue a long standing family tradition of owning a business.
Broadview has continued to grow ever since. We are constantly researching and experimenting with new technologies and services that solve the most pressing needs of our customers. We provide product engineering and prototyping services as well as manufacturing engineering.
Our new brand identity aims to highlight our company’s progress, and also emphasizes the “Broadview” name by which we are known. Learn about the meaning behind our new logo on our blog.
We perpetuate our success by serving our customers to the best of our ability, and treating our employees like family. We take pride in our dedication to fueling the success of both parties.
